Australian National University PhD Scholarships

A number of Australian National University PhD Scholarships are available annually. They are tenable for three years in the first instance (if full-time), although an extension of up to six months may be sought on academic grounds. It is normal for recipients to undertake study on a full-time basis. However, in accordance with strict criteria, the scholarship may be awarded for part-time study. International scholars must undertake study on a full-time basis. It is expected that the scholarship normally will be taken up by 31 March in the year for which it is awarded, although, subject to approval, a later start date may be possible. The date by which a scholarship must be taken up in a particular instance will be made clear in the formal letter of offer for the scholarship. International applicants must apply by 31 August, Australian/NZ citizens/residents by 31 October. Some Research Schools and Centres welcome applications at any time
